INITIAL COURSE

EBS PARIS DELIVERS A MASTER GRADE
AND TITLE RNCP LEVEL 7

GOALS

This specialization aims to train students in the entrepreneurial profession, whether it is oriented towards a new business creation, the takeover of an existing business and / or intrapreneurship within a large group.

In this sense, the Innovation & Entrepreneurial Management specialization is intended for students wishing to become Managers-Entrepreneurs.

PROGRAM

By mobilizing project-based pedagogy throughout the course, students develop in-depth soft skills such as creativity, autonomy, leadership but also in-depth skills in financial management, intellectual property and innovation.

The specialization mobilizes expert professors on each of the components of a Business Plan and external contributors with entrepreneurial experience, whether through the creation of start-ups and / or advice on creation, takeover business.

Each student entrepreneur is followed by a mentor who coaches their project throughout their course in the specialization in order to study the target market, define a relevant strategic positioning, defend a viable economic model and act on a development strategy. in the short, medium and long term. The objective is to allow the student to launch the activity as quickly as possible while minimizing the risks inherent in the launch of an innovative project, in particular for the creation of a startup.

The educational model thus offers a rise in innovative projects led by students: from the idea stage and the study of opportunities (master 1) to its structuring and launch (master 2).

MASTER 1

Minor and start of specialization

In the first semester, students can enroll in a minor entitled “undertake my future profession”. This minor, open to all and independent of the choice of specialization, provides the basics of innovative team project management and work reflexes around analysis, choices and how to argue them.

Specialization begins in the second semester. In the continuity of the minor, it develops around learning in project mode.

The foundations of entrepreneurship will be laid:

  • Analyze your market and define a marketing strategy
  • Knowing how to act, knowing how to convince, knowing how to surround oneself
  • How to finance your project
  • Startup ecosystem
  • Personalized coaching of the business project

Courses from other specializations (finance, luxury goods, digital, etc.) support the analysis of markets and socio-economic trends and issues.

MASTER 2

In the final year of the course at EBS Paris, students look towards their profession upon graduation. In the entrepreneurship specialization, this objective can be carried out on the launch of his business and / or on the use of the entrepreneur’s toolbox towards a targeted sector / profession. In certain objectives targeted by the student, we will then speak of intrapreneurship and a support method will then be adapted.

In the second year of the specialization, students therefore acquire business skills through the structuring of their projects and thus allow a possible launch under the best conditions.

In the first semester, three main modules are at the heart of this specialization:

  • Project reviews: Personalized coaching of the student entrepreneur in lean startup learning.
  • Development strategy: positioning on a value chain, competition, economic model, marketing, financing.
  • Business structuring: intellectual and industrial property, legal (articles of association, contracts, shareholders’ agreement, etc.), financial management, negotiation and commercial development.

In the second semester, students will be able to choose to do their end-of-study internship within their startup. They will then be accompanied to the EBS Paris incubator (the Sandbox) and will rub shoulders with other entrepreneurs (student entrepreneurs and EBSForLife alumni) in a spirit of stimulating mutual aid.

TESTIMONIALS

BENJAMIN TEXIER – PROMOTION 2013 – CEO HYPNOLIB – INCUBÉ SANDBOX 2019

About the master: what allowed me to succeed? a great capacity for adaptation and questioning. Specialization prepares us for this by making us work on concrete cases in partnership with large groups or start-ups. We are working on real issues, even on the creation of our own activity.

About the Sandbox: since the start of the 2018 school year, the School has further innovated by opening the EBS Sandbox, a space dedicated to entrepreneurship for students and alumni. Perfect combo between courses, advice and company creation workshops… we thus have all the tools and support necessary to start a business. There is real mutual aid between students and alumni.

What I am most proud of: After having worked for 4 years for large groups, I am now very proud to have created, with 2 other partners, Hypnolib. Our company offers free contact with a trusted hypnotherapist to quit smoking, lose weight, or manage stress …

HAROLD GARDAS, EBS PARIS 2017, RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT AT LA RELÈVE

“EBS Paris had been advised to me by a friend of mine, but it was really during the“ open house ”day that I made my decision.
What made the difference for me at EBS Paris was the international aspect, the school network and the quality of the teaching staff.
My professional project was built through internships and entrepreneurial projects.
My most memorable experience is “Ilow”. I started and sold this business that marketed a relaxing herbal drink. In 2 years, I learned “everything” there: the development of a Business Plan, the success of a crowdfunding campaign, the creation and management of a client portfolio. Creating my own project, knowing how to manage my stress, being autonomous, rigorous, this is what motivates me. “
