4 INTERNSHIPS TO PROFESSIONALIZE YOUR STUDENT JOURNEY

The Corporate Relations department coordinates the 4 internship periods.

The internships are linked according to a professional progression scheme, are evaluated by the company tutor and taken into account in the grading system. They allow students to put their knowledge into practice and integrate into the professional world.

1ST YEAR – COMMERCIAL / SALES INTERNSHIP – 10 WEEKS MINIMUM FROM END OF MAY TO END OF AUGUST

The purpose of this internship is to discover the practice and challenges of the sales function (sales department, shops, store, etc.) of a company and to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during the course.

2ND YEAR – OPTIONAL INTERNSHIP – 3 MONTHS MAXIMUM

This internship is optional due to international departures from the 1 st semester of the 3 rd year which may take place at the start of the summer.

However, for students who wish, we issue an internship agreement to enrich their CV at the end of 2rd year, the assignments are to be submitted to the Corporate Relations Department to ensure the relevance of your approach within the course as long as no sector, business or location constraints.

3 rd YEAR – INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP – 6 MONTHS

The objective of the International internship is to confront the student with a non-French-speaking organizational context in order to familiarize him with structures, procedures and cultures different from his usual environment.

4TH YEAR – THE SPECIALIZATION INTERNSHIP – 3 MONTHS

The objective of the Specialization internship is to put the student in a real situation of professional integration in a predefined field of expertise. This internship allows you to create or complete an experience specific to the chosen field of expertise, a real springboard for the end-of-studies internship.

5TH YEAR – THE PRE-EMPLOYMENT INTERNSHIP – 6 MONTHS FROM JANUARY FOLLOWING THE CHOSEN COURSE

The Pre-employment internship is a real professional probation in relation to the personal project of the student. Thus, during this internship, the student will have to use the professional knowledge he has acquired in his field of specialization and demonstrate his ability to adapt, to work in a team, to progress and to bring added value to the company.

Examples of internships : Juliette, Pepsico, Assistant Product Manager – Charles, Havas Média France, Assistant Advertising Manager – Céline, Danone, Assistant Marketing – Benjamin, Thales Asia Holding Singapore, Contracts Officer – Clémence, Chanel, Assistant in Management Control

Note : The duration of the internship (s) or training carried out in a professional environment is a maximum of 6 months per host organization and per year of teaching. Consequently, the end-of-study internship must end at the latest at the end of the academic year, ie on August 31 of each year.

TÉMOIGNAGE : LE STAGE « SO BRITISH » DE VINCENT

Vincent a effectué son stage de 3e année à Londres chez SOPEXA – agence de marketing dédiée à la promotion de la gastronomie française et du vin français à l’étranger.
Pour trouver son stage, rien de plus simple : il a contacté la directrice, Anne Burchett, qui fait partie du réseau Alumni EBS Paris : « Elle m’a tout de suite accueilli… Tout s’est fait très vite », témoigne-t-il.
Vincent avait pour missions l’organisation d’événements – salons professionnels et grand public, masterclass destinés à faire connaître des produits aux professionnels ou à leur montrer comment bien les présenter – et dresser le bilan des projets qu’il avait réalisés. Au cours de son stage, il a pu s’apercevoir combien comptaient les études de marché, il s’est perfectionné en anglais, il a aussi découvert les joies de la vie londonienne, les afterwork avec les collègues… Il nourrit désormais un rêve : s’installer à Londres et travailler dans la finance du sport.
